The Body Code was developed by Dr Bradley Nelson as a way of exploring different areas of potential imbalance within the body and its energy systems.
Patients came to him with conditions that were supposedly incurable such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, lupus, cancer, and so on. Many had dramatic improvements working with him as he found and corrected the underlying imbalances.
The Body Code is organised into six main areas of imbalance, each containing further categories and subcategories.
Using muscle testing, I work through this framework to identify where your body wants us to focus.
What comes up will be individual to you. It might relate to emotional energies, body systems, structural areas, environmental influences, nutrition or other energetic imbalances within the Body Code framework.
Once an imbalance has been identified, we’ll follow what your body indicates is ready to be addressed, working through things one step at a time.
The Body Code takes a whole-person approach, recognising that balance can involve many different layers of our physical, emotional and energetic wellbeing.
By looking beneath the surface, it offers an opportunity to explore what may be out of balance and gently work with what your body is ready to address. The aim is not perfection, but to support greater balance, connection and harmony within yourself.
The 6 Imbalances
The Body Code is organised into six main areas, each exploring a different type of imbalance.
Together, they provide a structured way of looking at the different factors that may be affecting you.
Emotional energies can sometimes remain with us after difficult experiences, leaving trapped emotions and patterns that may affect our wellbeing.
Looks at the balance of organs, glands, muscles and body systems, recognising that different areas of the body can be closely connected.
Environmental influences, including chemicals, heavy metals and other factors, can sometimes play a part in our overall energetic balance.
This area considers energetic imbalances associated with bacteria, viruses, fungi and other pathogens.
Our physical structure includes bones, nerves, connective tissue and alignment, all of which can play a part in our overall balance.
Nutrition, hydration, movement and lifestyle can all play a part in our overall balance and wellbeing.
